Morro de sa Carabassa

Morro de sa Carabassa

The “Peninsula of the Pumpkin” represents a small peninsula situated north of the Tower on the Hill of Falcons and south of the Porto Cristo bay.

Although it does not have any beach or any urban settlement on it, a small path allows nature enthusiasts to make a little excursion up to the head of the peninsula, where the marina has placed a small lighthouse. Along the path, one can find typical balearic flora and on some of the rocks, one can see fossilized shells that date back millions of years.

The path also leads to a small creek that descends to the sea and allows enthusiasts to practice snorkeling or sunbathing in a virgin area.
